Summits on GII

It was reported earlier today that two teams, Kobler-Partner GII Expedition and AMICAL alpin Gasherbrum Expedition are attempting to reach GII summit, today. The word has arrived that both teams made it to the summit successfully. In fact, Kobler-Partner team was on summit yesterday, while AMICAL alpin team reached the top this afternoon.

As per message from Kobler-Partner expedition leader, Suzanne Husser, "Yesterday [17th July] at 12 clock, the GII expedition celebrated the successful summit!". Further details are awaited.

Whereas NINE members (Guide Thomas Laemmle, HAP Ali and 07 clients) from AMICAL alpin team made it to the summit today afternoon. Summit push started just before mid night. By 06:30 in the morning, the team was at around 7550m. At 11:30 local time, they reached 7800m and fixed the route to the summit. Team is currently on the descent.

Iranians' Descent on Broad Peak
The news about descent of Iranian climbers, Aidin Bozorgi, Pouya Keivan and Mojtaba Jarahi, is still awaited. They were supposed to climb 100m from their bivouac at 7700m and descend via standard route to C3 and down to BC. As per Kooh News, the communication with BC usually takes place late in the day.

Nanga Parbat
No further update is available from Romanian Team on Schell Route, who were at 7300~7400m last night. It's not known whether team went for summit or not.
UPDATE: The home team reports that all four climbers reached an altitude of 7500m today. The summit push is expected tonight. Weather seems to be good.
